Severin Original art

This is the final day of the Hairy Green Eyeball John Severin tribute. I hope you've enjoyed it.

Here are three stories done by John Severin, in their original form. "The Towering Infernal" is from CRACKED #126, "If the Characters of Star Wars Appeared in Other Movies and TV shows" is from CRACKED #148, and "Bullets" is from TWO-FISTED TALES #38.

"Bullets" is written by Severin's friend, Colin Dawkins, who based it on a story from STALKY AND CO. by Rudyard Kipling. "Towering Infernal", based on the popular disaster movie of the mid-'70s, shows his expert way of handling faces of familiar people. It also shows the patina that his double-toned board takes on, which gives it a very attractive look, despite the warm-up squiggles of pen lines in the borders. Even with those, this is a very nice story.

"If the Characters of Star Wars Appeared in Other Movies and TV Shows" is yet another eye-appealing homage to well-known entertainments, with Star Wars thrown into the mix.

These stories are taken from the Internet.
